About Me
Hi my name is Jesse Auburg
I have always been a hands on kind of Guy ever since I was a teenager. Anything that I could learn about how to fix myself intrigued me. Any thing that had to do with electronics fascinated me.
I started my career in electronics with Bell & Howell back in the late seventies, started tinkering with Citizen Band radios, and televisions, pretty much anything electronic. Then in 1987, I started going to school @ Avalon Vocational and Technical school in Odessa, Texas earned a certificate of graduation in electronics and computers, which included rebuilding circuit boards, to troubleshooting logic circuits. Things just evolved from then on, most of what I have learned is by finding solutions myself. What would work and what wouldn’t work.I have had a fascination with computers and I like figuring out the problem and what it takes to fix it. From finding cracked circuit boards to components getting hot and shutting down. To helping people with their problems, and seeing their faces light up when their computers or televisions, or whatever I am working on for them come back to life.
It appears as though we live in a disposable world now, if something quits working most people will just throw it away and buy another one. Not me, I might buy a new one, but I keep the old one and see if I can get it to working, then I will probably give it to someone that needs it. I have also found out that if you quit learning something new each day, that day is a lost day.
This is the purpose of this Blog to share information, computer tips, products and other services
My Hobbies are Woodworking, Carpentry and Gardening

Hey – nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I’m currently using WordPress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?

I owned my first computer in 1975 I think. It was a Radio Shack Tandy Computer. You had to use Visual Basic to program it. I have been working on computers since 1996. They sure have come a long way since I started. Thank you for your reply. I do hope that this information will help to learn more about your computer.
